     I am a rarity in this area: a native Charlottean!  Most of my family still lives here (why would we want to go anywhere else?)!  I am happily married, with three children (one in the work world, one at UNC and one at Myers Park High School) and two dogs. 

       I grew up in Myers Park and the Southpark area and now live in Myers Park in a house my wife's grandfather built in 1927.  I attended Charlotte-Mecklenburg schools (as did my three children) and hold degrees from two state universities (UNCC and UNC-G).

       We have watched Charlotte grow from a sleepy mid-sized town to a bustling city of corporate headquarters and professional sports teams.  My grandfather, mayor of Charlotte in the 1940's, built many of the beautiful homes in Myers Park and Plaza-Midwood.

        I bring to my clients passionate advocacy, a broad range of experience (22 years in residential Real Estate in Charlotte), excellent communication skills, and local knowledge.  My clients benefit from my vast network of friends, Realtors, builders (15 years in onsite new home sales), lenders, and vendors.  In my eighteen years in Real Estate I have had the pleasure and honor of helping hundreds of people find the right homes for their families.  I have been successful because I put my clients' interests ahead of my own.

Carol Ambrose, my administrative assistant, is behind the scenes doing the hard work so that I can spend my time marketing your home and finding you the right home for your future.  And my excellent closing coordinator, Sophie Marshall, is the best at helping our clients navigate the waters between contract and closing.
